Jeff Buckley was an incredible singer and guitarist who tragically drowned in Memphis in early June of 1997. He only released one full length album "Grace" but was working on an album to be titled "My Sweetheart The Drunk." The demos for this album were released by his mother and band this past June. This tape is comprised of material from thoses two albums, except for "I Want Someone Badly" which is on the "First Love, Last Rights" Soundtrack. I have loved Jeff's music from when I first heard Grace back in 1994, but after reading articles about him after his death, I, as cheesy as this sounds, feel a connection with him. That connection is our personal love and passion for music. This tape, out of the hundred or so I have made in the past 6 years is my favorite.
