this is a great mix. i love this mortal coils remake of roy harpers "another day:...and of course--the BEAUTIFUL ride song. probably my fave song of all time.

I guess my only comment would be in regards to your line up of the Clientele at tracks 7,8, and 9. I would suggest "mixing" it up a little more, however, aside from the physical playlist, I consider the intrinsic value of the mix to be overpowering, especially The Lucksmiths with "Smokers in Love" Beautiful.

Thanks, Alex, for the comments. As far as the Clientele go, the flow of the tracks fit beautifully -the whole "tripping through the daisies" theme is what I wanted, so the Clientele (yes, 3 tracks) fit the best.

A wonderful mix. You hooked me with "Pink Moon" by Nicky-boy. Ain't it a shame that Volkswagen used that song in a commercial? Also love the inclusion "Ohio River Boat Song."

I checked this out after the nice things you said about my mix, and was pleasantly surprised to see the similarities (B&S, Clientele, Nick Drake... I was going to squeeze 'How To Tie A Tie' by the Lucksmiths on mine, too.) An excellent mix - gotta love the last 60 seconds of 'The Model'.

GREAT new order pick, i absolutely adore that song. and of course ride and nick drake, two of the best songs of all time. other great bands - rhp, magnetic fields, b/s, etc. i'm gonna go download the mortal coil and b/s songs right now.

I think every mix should end with God Only Knows. Maybe no one should ever listen to any songs that aren't God Only Knows. Is there a better song in the history of the universe? I doubt it. The rest is great too - 100,000 fireflies has one of my favourite opening lines ever. Great mix. I need to gets me some Clientele.
