Comment:

My friends posted up a musical scavenger hunt a while back: http://www.livejournal.com/users/hunhee/6497.html. I finally got around to compiling it. I fudged on a few categories, but all in all, I'm pretty pleased with how these songs fit together.

Categories as follows: 1. Song to fuck to (not me, per se, but this song sounds just like sex) 2. A cover song 3. A song from the first concert you ever went to 4. A song with vocoders 5. A song from this decade that reminds you of an earlier decade 6. A song you wouldn't listen to with your parents around 7. A favorite song from your childhood (not this version, of course) 8. A song under 1 minute in length 9. A song that annoys your significant other 10. A song about commiting a crime 11. Song you're embarrassed to admit to liking 12. Song by an all-female band 13. Favorite hair rock song (I really can't think of a hair rock song I like, so I substituted middle-eastern psychedelic music -- they had great hair) 14. song in a foreign language 15. song with nature sounds 16. song with no percussion 17. song you were surprised your parents liked [I was surprised that my parents liked Breakfast at Tiffany's the movie -- it seemed so distant and removed from any lifestyle they knew] 18. song about cheating [I tried really hard with this one, but had to fudge it -- she sounds so plaintive, her lover has to be up to no good] 19. instrumental song 20. song from most recently purchased album
