Comment:

Some leftist reflections on modernity and contemporary 'global' politics; capitalism, (global) welfare, globalization, terrorism, problems in the Middle East, the New World Order, etc.. Some songs can be cruel, so you know.
This is part I; part II wil try to reflect a part of perceptions from the other side, The Pros.

I'm pretty much on the con side as well, but songs like that of cassetteboy makes me think there must be some account for the other perspective as well.
The Fire This Time is actually a very nice 'mix' by itself: nice music and some essential education about the history of Iraq. Makes you see things are a little bit more complicated and shows some compelling western political 'ethics' over the past four decades.
