Comment:

This mix is all about the ups and downs of a relationship with the opposite sex. That's why it's got such a "confused" flow to it. Some songs are about the joys of love, while others are about break ups and feeling depressed. For example, Shuggie Otis' "Aht Uh Mi Hed" is immediately followed by "Creep" by Radiohead. You'll also notice a couple of songs from Gary Wilson, who was a heavy influence on the whole idea of the theme for the mix. If you're familiar with the works of Mr. Wilson, you definitely know what i'm talking about. Finally, the intro for the mix comes from a phone sex commercial while the side two interlude comes from the movie "Punch Drunk Love".

Meant to comment on this sooner. I think all of us have had a relationship like this where the line between heaven and hell is...well...hazy. Side B of this tape really rocks my socks: Dr.John, The Stones, Johnson, Cat Power and Hendrix- good times all. Great job and an...um...INTERESTING cover. Cheers! -Famous.
