Comment:
Made in June, 1998, when I did a pledge show on WMBR (MIT's station). The first hour, up to Talk Talk, was all Brit stuff, (as the name of the show implies) and the rest I added on when I got home. The Babybird track was meant to be Aluminium Beach, but the producer/dj queued it up wrong, and I'm not sure the name of the song that was played.I just love the Penguin Cafe Orchestra song on there, it's too bad they are no longer...
Feedback:
weird..cause i was just singing a clash song randomly when i started up the site, and then i see london calling. and mighty good mix i say to you!
ahhh! what an awesome mix! thank you for bringing back pretty memories (and reminding me about underworld's born slippy)
Awesome opening segue from the Only Ones into Billy Bragg. Alhtough I have to admit that I prefer the Replacements live cover of 'Another Girl, Another Planet.' But a groovy mix - and a good title - your tapes all have great titles! Rock on.
this is good, strange structure, great choices, good cover, i don't listen to the damned but i imagine a band with that name must have an interesting version
Hey, nice mix. There sure is power in the union. plus, belle & sebastian. what are all the hipsters in glascow talking about? the bible.
