Comment:
I guess I'm not on any of those low-carb diets, 'cause I eat a lot of bread,
& maybe I can trade copies of this CD for a few baguettes at
some local bakeries.
Anyway, this is yet another of my food-oriented themes, this time maybe I loosened the rules
a bit since waffles, doughnuts, & biscuits aren't exactly bread, & "shortnin bread" is really more
of a cookie, BUT there are so many really hoppin' versions of "shortnin bread" that I had to include
some of my favorites.
This mix would not have been possible without help from fellow-AOTMers, notably Rich W. for some
tracks from his "hangin at the Waffle House", and Sean "the Source" Lally for the all-time Fabulous Playboys
version of "Shortnin Bread"

Feedback:
I can smell it now -- and it's really cookin'!! Great mix.
Another tasty mix (and that's coming from someone who's allergic to wheat gluten)
I like bread too! And, as with all your mixes, I like this one a lot - you've got some fantastic picks for your theme. Like the Wayne Hancock especially.
thumbs up for this one! btw, you're lucky you're living where you can get good bread, anytime, anywhere!!!!!chicago is too far to go here.....
This is making me hungry - Fantasically tasty!
This looks better than my copy of Best of Bread. Mind if I help myself to a slice? Did you use Toast to burn this mix? ;)
Excellent concept and an excellent mix!
Elvis does shortnin' Bread on The Clambake Soundtrack...just thought I'd tell you that...an excellent looking mix here Joey! I'm a Ciabatta & croissant man myself.
Fantastic!
smashing stuff once again. Your theme mixes are really top notch, Jeff.
Tasty. Groan, another eating-related comment...
Great mix! Glad to have been of assistance with that Waffle House song. I'm hoping one day the good folks at Waffle House grace us with a companion CD to the compilation they already put out--I'm longing to be able to play "I Saw Elvis At Waffle House" any time I'd like.
Nice, as always, mr. joie.
This mix is a pain. Sorry couldn't resist it (pain as in French for bread!)Nice one Monsieur Joey!
Sean "the Source" Lally here. That's really funny - I'm like the mainman of rock. Killer, killer, killer! No waffling around here! How much bread would it cost to get this? (Sorry - I can't really justify those puns.) Save me a copy, please!
Everybody, please RISE!
It's a poor diet, but a great compilation.
It's a poor diet, but a great compilation.
I would not have thought this possible. Great for carb-loading before a workout!
