This can be taken as an obvious attempt at making a jazz cd from someone who is new to the genre, or you can just appreciate it for how it sounds. It actually seems to work. The blend of vocal, instrumental and old soul tend to work as a whole.Feedback:
Keep up the listening. Always nice to see new converts. If you like James Brown (and jazz), check out some of Fathead Newman's jazz stuff. Or Maceo Parker's funky jazz CDs. I would never include Bill Withers in a jazz mix, although I dig the song.
