This is disc one of a mix I made for my little sister when she came home from school for the summer. It was made very quickly and I was really happy with the sequencing since it's the first time I've ever just basically thrown stuff together that I thought would work well. My first reason for making it was to give her a quick mix of great new music and older stuff she needed to know about if she hadn't already. Although I know some of the stuff didn't end up being new to her, I know she appreciates having a music junkie as an older sister. My second reason for making it and the reason it was made so quickly, is that our father is battling colon cancer and we were going to make the hour drive to the hospital that evening to see him so I wanted it done in time for the trip to help us focus on something else... Music can be really helpful that way.
