Oh yeah...two mixes in one weekend. Some sort of record for me, I think. (that's what happens when the wife and my oldest are away for the weekend. Busy with the babys, but more time for mixin'!). Anyways, this one couldn't be anything else but a Space Madness mix. Many thanks to the great lo-fi jr. for the Les Rallizes Denudes track.

The Conet Project stuff just freaks the shit out of me when I listen to it at night - but I keep listening to it. I guess that's my version of watching a scary movie.

Great stuff Shawn. Love the Fursaxa, Les Fallizes Denudes, LSD March, Tower Recordings, AMT and Bardo Pond picks especially. And nice to see the Conet Project makin' another appearance. Like Dale, it haunts me when listened to late at night.

I am not familiar with all selections but this looks good (and probably sounds good too)! The use of a track off Conet Project adds extra points! Might as well go with gobi for some researching too!

Not mine, but my 8 year old daughter, (she was 7 at the time she drew that, I think), Maggie's drawing. She occasionaly will do artwork for Daddy's mix cds. :-)

Ah, what a lovely cover! Good to know you've got artists you can commission for your CDs :) Love what's on the mix too - especially Autechre, and I do like the "theme" as well. I may have said this before, but the "Space Madness" episode of Ren and Stimpy is my favourite. I used to have a t-shirt with Ren eating soap on it. Yep. Anyway, nice mix!
