Comment:
- This was the first 'reversible' mix that I made; either side can be listened to first and will, theoretically, meld perfectly into the other. The idea is sound, and the thing sounds alright whichever side you start with, but there are two songs at the antipodes of the mix that gum things up a bit. 'Here Comes the Sun' is a great song, and usually acts a wonderful opener, but here it just doesn't have quite the effectiveness, particularly when it's the first song following the 'Dusk' side. The other problematic song is 'Shadows Fall' which should be up towards the beginning of 'Dusk,' but I was lazy and didn't bother to retape the side.Anyhow, it sounds all right really, and that's the important thing.
Feedback:
I like the mix, and the theme.
Maybe a good opener (if you're not happy w/ Here Comes the Sun) would be At Dawn by My Morning Jacket. And you could have them on the flipside too, with It's About Twilight Now.
