Way cool stuff!
Great!
Both mixes are really nice. As with any artist with a catalog this large you can't hit all the gems in one or two mixes, but you hit many of my faves. For my money, Frank was at his peak in the middle of his Capitol era. He was still learning his craft in the early years and really didn't hit his stride (and zone in on HIS sound) until the very end of his time at Columbia. The Reprise years have their moments, but for me those moments are more kitch than cool. But when he hit it in any era he NAILED it. -Dale
