Comment:
Ah, the early to mid-1990's... When the word "alternatve" while still not a great description, actually held meaning and promised new and exciting sounds. Remember when you'd stay up until 1am listening to the radio in hopes you'd hear that amazing song one more time? Here are 60 of those songs placed somewhat in chronological order -- 1990 to 1995. Disc two of 3.Feedback:
and i love that pj harvey song!
Good again; the slight drop-off in quality from Vol. 1 pretty much sums up what started happening when "alternative" went mainstream. Still love the Bettie Serveert, though, all these years later.
utah saints, ok, i know i'm not alone in having worked at the gap in the 91-93 era, those tapes, as prefab as they were, were pretty good for mall store rock. utah saints is forever burnt into my mind from those tapes, i thought my job someday might be to be the person who made those tapes.
