Comment:

Lots of psych and other assorted goodness that I've been listening to lately. The Yaphet Kotto track comes from the ridiculously awesome 365 Days Project over at UBUWEB. The Sixto Rodriguez track is from the staggeringly great CDR700 MP3 mix from Nate Patrin. The playlist can be found right here. That one is currently going to be in heavy rotation in my car for the next month or so.

nice one. I have to say though, I had to kiss an awful lot of frogs on the Bum Rocks site until I found some princes! Long Song for Zelda is fantastic!

Yeah, gobi, they're definitely not all winners on that site, but I've found a few gems that make it a daily stop for me. Stuff I've really enjoyed lately from there, (aside from those posted) include; Ornette Coleman, Zongamin, Faust, Skip Spence and the Bobby Brown track. (not "My Prerogative" BB, but more of a folk-psych dude from the 70s.

Sorry I'm a bit late here, Shawn - computer still a bit poorly! This looks extremely cool; the stretch from Hedayat till the end especially has me very interested, and in addition, there's a lot here which I'm unfamiliar with. I do like a nice bit of education AOTM-style! And I love your QOTSA - Zeppelin link!
