If I were to plan one of those all day music fests, these would no doubt be some of the acts on the ticket. These are all taken from live recordings, mostly from official releases but some from sound board quality bootlegs. Lots of covers in here and songs that I like better live, plus a few songs that I just enjoy live or not. The tricky thing here was taking the audience noise in each track and blending them together so that each band seems to be playing one after the other, plus getting the volume to stay at a near constant level despite the use of so many sources. I think it came out pretty well and I may be forced to do a follow-up mix sometime soon.
