Comment:
This is actually a two-disc compilation which is better suited for a cassette; unfornuately, the boy for whom this is intended is absolutely too ultramodern to have a tape deck. Regardless of the format, the content is supposed to encapsulate a very delicate brand of teenage languish. Side 1 is the imparting of knowledge to the receiving party; my quiet and violent affection is delivered through these songs. Side 2 is the realization that no matter how tenderly I feel or how beautiful he is, there is nothing to be done. A sound relationship (his with another girl) and blossoming friendship (between us) depends on my adherence to self control. The final track is particularly poignant; its intent is to let the listener know that while I can maintain a brilliant comraderie, I hear this song whenever he comes to mind.Feedback:
umm this hits very close to home! we are living the same heartbreak, side two is so perfect. GREAT mix. GREAT! nice to know someone else is going through this horribly difficult situation.
