Comment:
(1 of 2 discs)
Way, way, WAY back at the dawn of recorded music, there was a lot of excitement in the air - or at least that's what I conclude from the musical evidence. And why not? a booming economy, this new mass media called radio, a mass market for phonograph records - no wonder so much talent was drawn into the music business. On top of that you've got your youth rebellion, your changing sex roles (check out "Masculine Women, Feminine Men"), there was a lot going on.
Lots of very witty lyrics in those days, but what I mostly notice are the amazingly catchy melodies!
Feedback:
Wow - what a super, ambitious fun set. What I know I love. And what a refreshing thing to see posted.

What I said for the first of these mixes goes double for this superb compilation! Nice work..........if you can get it!

'Twas the wildest of times and the music carried that spirit to the hilt I'd imagine. Outstanding collection Mr. de vivre, as usual! Roar on..!
