This was originally a Hanukkah mix for my lovely Jewish friend, Bridey. I started to cull together some Jewish songwriters and songs, but soon decided that I could probably do a "bigger" album if I widened my focus. So in the end I tried to create a more spiritual, winter-time mix. It was originally longer, but I removed some up-tempo songs from the middle and end to smoother out the flow. On the surface, the BNL song at the end seems out of place, but it's actually a very soft, accoustic song that creates a nice ending (plus it will make my friend happy, which is the real point).
