Comment:

Just a nice mix of some of Dusty Springfield's best material -- a mix of well and lesser knowns, but every track on here is amazingly good. The songs are not chronological, but are ordered to flow nicely. There are six tracks from the must-have album Dusty In Memphis, with good reason -- without a doubt a "desert island" disc.
I heart Dusty.

I HATE when people do this to my mixes, but I'll do it anyway just to bug you ... No Spooky or Haunted (two of my favourite Springfield tracks)? But seriously ... nice mix. I'd love to trade for some of these.

Dusty is great. Jana (our fellow mixer on AotM) would love this. And I agree, Dusty in Memphis is clearly a desert-island disc.

Ooh, no "Breakfast in Bed" (my personal fave Dusty tune), though. Still a great mix.

"Breakfast In Bed" IS a great track -- almost made it. "Haunted" and "Spooky" are two great songs that I unfortunately don't have. "To each their own," I say to those lamenting the exclusion of some tracks... It's not meant to be comprehensive by any stretch. :) Thanks for the feedback.

I just received this mix in a trade (thanks again Laura!) and I have to say this mix is fantastic. Single-artist mixes are always a bit tricky, I think, but this one flows with style. Many of the top hits are here as well.
A great mix!
