Comment:

This is a tape I made in 2001 and lost then forgot about. I found it as I was getting ready to move to Illinois and changed one or two songs. However, I kept the original premise of the tape the same, and all the songs I added were from music that I was listening to in 2001 or before. I made this tape at a time when I was in a relationship that was starting to turn sour, and I definetly was trying to bring that out. The songs are all over the place musically, and many of them have lyrics about "dreaming" and "waking up." I originally had "I'm waking up to us" by Belle and Sebastian on here, and the "Ups and Downs" by Ozma as well. I took them out because I use both of those bands way too much, and both of those songs are more direct than what I was going for.
