Comment:
To me, the sound of an organ really punches up a song -- a Hammond B-3 fan, I am! Here's a selection of my organ-happy favorites.Feedback:
I need to introduce you to some REAL b-3 masters! McGriff, McDuff, Smith, (Jimmy & Dr. Lonnie), Joey DeFrancesco, Larry Young, Richard "Groove" Holmes! Wait, now THERE's an idea for a mix! Like the cover art.
Some nice stuff!
lostinthemix -- . thanks for your list -- I know several of the names, but it's apparent they aren't residing in my music library!
Nice lookin' mix...yeah, u must check out Lost's list...there's a lot of Blue Note compilations that deal specifically in those particular grooves..'Blue Funky' has Donaldson, Smith, McDuff etc on. Happy Hunting Steve!
very nice, Great cover art!
TrTs Bon Steve.
Beautiful Steve....
Very nice. Great picks.
Anyone who bases a mix on songs with a Hammond organ gets my 5 star vote. Sugarloaf, Santana, and The Charlatans UK all on one mix...far out! Keep it up. Thanks for you comments on my High School mix too. Keep it up.
All over the map, yet kindred! Thankfully, you left off Bloodrock's "D.O.A."!
Very cool mix. Great eclectic choices, I especially like "Weirdo" and "Do Ya Know What I Mean? "
nice one!
