I really do like this mix. I got the idea from another mix someone put up on iTunes while i was messing around with my roommate's computer. As a native Michiganian, now displaced, I tried to make it as evocative as i remember the sunsets being. I'm a little... "homesick" is the wrong word, but something like it lately, and this kinda fits the bill. The pictures are both from the shores of Lake Michigan (thus, authentic for the mix!), but if I had to find a fault with the mix it would be that its a little TOO mellow. Oh well. I also really REALLY wanted to put Sufjan Stevens on it from the Michigan album, and totally blanked. S'ok, I'll save him for the next MI mix.

Let me know what you think! Hope you like it, or for those who are also Michiganders that I've done YOUR memories justice. And for any other displaced Michiganians, I hope this scratches the itch.
