this is a modified mix of a tape given to me in the early 90s from another friend who has a huge collection of psych and folk psych. it was actually originally from another guy, who did not label the songs. therefore there si obe track on the tape i'm not able to find. its' a heavy slow riff, early 70s, with a growling bluesy voice, who in the outro sings " listen to the fairy tale song!" over and over ..if anybode has a tip of who it might be who recorded the song, please let me know - i'll be forever grateful!
the common denominator for all the songs are that they are a mix of psychedleia and heavy fuzzy guitar, with some memorable solos, especially on daughter from the hillside, the kettle and rain. my fave song on the tape is probably drown, by bevis frond, which i have sevral fond memories from..
