this is for my best friend of seven years and what else can i really say? the title is from the von bondies song. each track has a story - learning to play the cars song when you were home on x-mas break with you on my roomate's drums and me on guitar in the kitchen, playing lazybone in my bedroom when we were in tenth grade (me on bass, you on guitar). some of these you've never even heard but they all have a story to me and you'll love them all because we love the same things. all of the CFTPA songs are short and while there are four of them, i know you'll love owen ashworth as much as i do, i even thought of you the first time i heard him. some of them are the stories of our lives (weezer, the white stripes). springsteen was supposed to be the last track but "no surrender" wouldn't fit and i wasn't comfortable with putting anything else at the end. you and i, we're like two peas in a pod, and i will give this to you when we drive to north carolina tomorrow to see pedro the lion like we did in november (except then it was DC) and we'll always be best friends.
