I made this mix for my friend while I was living far away for a month. Admittedly, I've ripped off the Virgin Suicides soundtrack a bit since I have two songs from it on there [Air and Heart tracks] but my collection was limited because I wasn't at home...and I just really dig Air and Heart. I find the contrast of Ladytron sitting beside The Stooges interesting. I wish there was some Les Savy Fav on it, but there isn't because I had no Les Savy Fav with me at the time [I nearly cried when I came to that realisation...a month without Les Savy Fav is a bleak thing]. The title comes from the At the Drive-In song. I really hope my friend loves it heaps because I'm proud of it for some reason...
