Comment:
This is my first AOTM submission. What a fantastic site! I've been scanning mixes for a couple of months and am amazed at some of the incredible music I've discovered, much of which resides buried in my own collection. I've also met some really nice and interesting people. Thanks to all.I've been compiling mix tapes -- more recently CDs -- for years under the "Boss Hits" label since my last name is Boss. This is an old Boss Hits compilations put together to show a friend of my girlfriend, an alleged music buff who played guitar and claimed the Eagles were his favorite band, that there are lots of relatively unknown artists of limited commercial success that create wonderful music besides the formulaic and forgettable crap that the industry loves to pump out (and the masses feel the need to go out and buy). Most of these are solo artists. There are a couple of duets and one group offering. I'd written comments on each song and artist, but the 4000-character limit imposed by the site wouldn't accommodate them, so instead of editing them, I've just omitted them. E-mail me if you like them.
