Comment:

I had already started this mix when I got an e-mail from fellow AotMer steelkillie requesting a few intro-to-jazz mixes (for someone who says he knows "zilch" about jazz) in exchange for his latest Costello mixes. I thought this (plus a second disc I'm working on) was as good a place to start as any.//This is a mix of mostly medium-sized and/or bigger-band/ensemble modern jazz. I hope he doesn't run screaming from this mix.
