Comment:

Erasing cultural boundaries while honoring cultures.
I revsed this mix om 3/5/05. Tracks were added and deleted to make for a stronger mix, and the order changed to create a better flow. Copious liner notes were also added but when I hit the submit button, they disappeared, irretrievably lost. So.... if you have any questions about the performers or songs, please leave a comment and I'll get back to you with an answer. Or extensive liner notes are available upon request in the form of a MS Word document sent as an email attachment.

That's a tough one, Steve--I'd say the Tibetan track and Madredeus are enchanting. I like them all including Pape & Cheikh..... I think my personal favorite is the Tahitian number--it's from an album called "Fenua" that I can't stop listening to.
