This was mixed on 12/05/04 as a birthday mix for my friend Josh (beautifuloser). Musically, I was trying to make a mix that was challenging, perhaps less accessible than my most recent previous mixes, but which was ultimately rewarding. Special attention was made to cater the music toward what I hoped would appeal and speak to Josh. The cover and inside photos were taken by me shortly after 9/11/01 at my friend Eric's apartment in Minneapolis. The title comes from track 10: the Chin Up Chin Up song. I only made 5 or 6 copies of this mix.
