The was the first cd mix I ever made. Before this I was strictly a tape mixer, and while I still do occasionaly mix tape, I find I prefer to primarily make cd mixes now. Back in June of 2002 when I made this cd, however, I was still very much figuring out how a cd mix works.The cover was black text on white with a simple track listing inside and nothing on the back. The title comes from track 20: When You Come Back by Vusi Mahlasela. I created this for my friend Brenda for her 19th birthday in June, 2002. This mix was fairly uncharacteristic for the mixes I was creating back then because I was specifically catering the songs toward Brenda's tastes and interests. As a result, this is one of the most eclectic and varied collections of music I've ever put together, on tape or cd!
