Comment:
So - this one happened because I was listening to Richard Thompson's catchy-bouncy "two Left Feet",(which speaks to me, I'm afraid),
& someone who knows how my mind works mentioned Greg Brown's "two Little Feet" . . .
&, well, sometimes that's all it takes. Everything else in between just fell into place.
I know I'm following in the footsteps of some other mixers who've been down this road before me,
(surely someone has done a whole mix of "These Boots Are Made for Walking"?). One good one was Emma12's
Nice shoes...
, & the best ever probably was Nest of Vipers'
Shoes Your Weapon
(& that's why I stole her "boogie shoes", though otherwise I tried to avoid overlap)
Anyway, here I go, putting my best foot forward . . .
Feedback:
This is great--very clever and well-executed, as always.
Cute idea -- seems to work!
I was wondering where those boogie shoes had gotten to...
This looks like great fun; several tracks I know and love.
"...best ever"? Gee thanks ZM!

Aww... I was hoping this was going to be a "shoegazer" music mix, the kind of dream pop that came out in the early nineties... But, despite the false advertising, this looks good! Cool concept over all... now if you'll excuse me am gonna go back to moping around and staring intently at my RIGHT toe.
Let's put on our dancing shoes and go to it!
Ditto Rob... and fun too.
This mix is quite a feat.
Wow this gives me happy feet, just readin' the play list! Lovely as always
It's got sole.
Looks like a Foot-Stompin' good time!
Just more evidence that you are the master of theme mixes! Excellent as always...
very coool. I like this a lot.
I was expecting a shoegazing mix too. But on the whole I think this is a better proposition. Very cool it is.
nice one Jeff! this is a familiar theme for me too. BTW, while a younster in Daly City , Bobby Freeman lived across the street from a friend. what a nice guy he was to us little ones!!!!
Happy feet, indeed. Super funtastic mix.
Yeeess!!
Great stuff....brings out the Cinderella in me!
I too expected a shoegazing mix. Oh well, still loooks fantastic.
Just kidding folks!!!! - "for shoegazers only" was my idea of a little joke, (maybe a LAME one) -- but I hope no one has been TOO cruelly disappointed . . .
Not only about feet, but something to get 'em movin' too! Nice!
You've nailed this theme. Makes my little piggies happy I tell ya'.
Never commented on this for some reason first time round so I'll take the opportunity now to comment here on this & your Pi mix (can't comment on the Pi mix page cos there's no section for feedback for some reason? I for one ampleased this isn't a shoe gazing mix, bored the life out of me that did! Foot stompin! & re Pi, For 'The Life Of' a top mix (bad pun I know!
