I was thinking about the pop songs of the 1950s and 1960s, many of which had parenthetical titles - a trend that seems to have faded. Also, about the Sigur Ros album ( ), which seemed to be playing on the idea of speaking parenthetically. Alternate title of the mix is Parenthetical Notation, a joke that is only funny in academia.Feedback:
