Comment:
Another stab at an all-bop mix, although some might quibble with labeling some of these tunes "bop" (the Calypso-ish "Hold `em Joe," for example). Title comes from a jazz book by Francis Davis. Many thanks to Michael (mckbrd) for the Jimmy Smith.Feedback:
nice
I be boppin' to this!
I'd really like to hear more Clifford Brown. The only thing I've got is his album with Sarah Vaughan, which is fantastic, to say the least.
Sweet =)
Groovin at Smalls is the record I end up listening to when I think I want to listen to "A New Sound..A New Star." No flab here. I'm intrigued by Chet Baker playing Pent-Up House.
Smooth!
Bop-i-licious! I love track 14 - Dex is da man.
yet another nice one Edward!!!!!! you're very welcome!
Looking rad as always.
Looks really good, Edward. I have never heard anything by the first artist.
Bop goes the weasel! In other words, be-bop-a lula, this mix is my baby!
Looks great!
Fantastic, as always - like the Mingus pick a lot.
Another great one.
Really beautiful stuff here, from what I recognize.
Edward, I'd love to hear this one...!
Very nice.
