I can't really explain it, but Tom Waits' "Alice" album was my inspiration for this mix. Maybe not as sinister as I'd hoped, but still manages to get me through the night.A wooden cherry scent is faintly breathing the air

Looks good but must confess the closing trio are new to me
Muddy Waters and Black Dice .. there's an odd combo! Don't know enough of the tracks here to know what you're going for... But thanks for posting those two tracks -- interesting to hear if a tad baffling to my ears. That "Holiday Road" mix sounds like it might be a little scary too.
I've also just added The Brunettes track, which is not at all like the other two tracks I posted, but it's got an utterly charming pop hook. SO PRETTY. The Brunettes are from New Zealand, and I think they are touring North America with the Shins right about now.
I just used the Brunettes track on a mix (un-posted as yet) - it is quite fine. This is a very interesting mix. I'm curious about that L. Buckingham remix.
