Let's do the timewarp again!
This is clearly a very 60's mix, but, correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't "Bell-Bottom Blues" originally a song about sailors from the WWII era, the song maybe revived along with bellbottoms themselves at the end of the 60's? But of course by then bellbottoms had a completely different cultural significance . . .

Looking good.Haven't heard the Blind Faith version of Bell Bottom Blues.Only Derek & The Dominos.
classics one and all.
Nice collection of classics.
I don't think that VU did a version of "Berlin" (I know the Lou Reed song/album), either, although if they did, I'm sure it's great, nor did I know that CSNY did a version of "Love the One You're With" (it's a solo Stills song, the last time I checked, despite the presence of Graham Nash on the track). Anyway, I love "Celebration Day", "Travelin' Band", "You Make Me Real", and your picks from the Band, the Stones, the Beatles, the Kinks, the Airplane, Brother Ray, Janis, and Hendrix.
Rob, the verion of "berlin" that I have is on a VU bootleg and listed under VU. So i am unsure of who it is really by. It sounds like it was done by VU, but i could be wrong. ty again for your comment.
Guess I missed this first time around, but I'm diggin' it totally.
McDonald said it all for me!
