Comment:

About the mix: I usually try not to double up on artists' songs when I make a CD. But these two, Ryan Adams and Bright Eyes, the songs are just so...true, that both had to be there.
About the break-up: This is the second time I've broken up with him...it does not get easier the more times you do it. I didn't make a CD last time, there's a certain finality to this one...it's sad, but one more drink and i'll move on.

Some nice picks on here, for sure. That Beatles cut is one of the greatest and understated songs about breaking up.

Most excellent choices-you could have gone with "Come pick me up (original live version)" by Ryan Adams. THen there's 'Maps' by Yeah Yeah Yeahs...but you nailed it. Great mix/. There's also a sparse acoustic demo of "For No One" with Macca playing the song and cords to George Harrison.

Definitely agree with you on the Ryan Adams and Bright EYes picks. But this all looks fantastic, and heartbreaking...

You've picked some perfect songs for this... those bright eyes tracks especially are both so good, you couldn't have dropped one...
