Tom Waits -- there is something to be said about an artist that can make me cry while at the same time being the first thing I play on Halloween to scare small children. Interesting. I don't log in to the site for a couple of days and come back to someone else posting exactly what I worked on yesterday (granted, my mixes are a retooling of mixes that I submitted in 2001 and 2002). I'll be working on a third volume, as well. At any rate, nice picks--you nailed some of my favorites (although my favorite, "Johnsburg, Illinois", didn't make it 'til your volume two) and some of my lesser-appreciated songs, but that's good--I'd hate there to be too much overlap when I re-post my mixes. :-)
