Comment:

Part two of my series of mixes with the same name. This one was my made for my friend's birthday gift, which I also included 2 cds of Francoise Hardy's greatest. I was so excited to discover that she had done a song with Air which is why it's included on this mix. Definitely a beautiful song! The Montag song is so beautiful, take a chance and listen to it for yourself. That Hope Sandoval song kills me every time I hear it. It's so moody and depressing, but it sounds like heaven to me. The VU song is breathtaking and it gets me every time, the same way "Pale Blue Eyes" does too. The two tracks in the middle by Nilsson + Joan Baez come from film soundtracks; Midnight Cowboy + Life Aquatic. Both beautiful folk songs that I'm so glad I had the chance to discover and savor. Oh yes, the Silver Apples! An awesome recent music discovery for me! This track is a hip shaking number by them! Well, I love all the tracks on here of course! The artwork is once again by Mr. Jeremy Blake who I will use on this series. His artwork eerily embodies the general direction and mood of my mixes. Love him! Any comments welcomed as usual...
