One of my absolute favorite artists, this mix is a good overview of his work so far... Although I have never had the fortune to see him live, my sister has, and she said he's amazing and a very tall guy to boot. Someday I shall see for myself. Title from Hand @ the Helm.

I need to pick up more Buckner. I love what I've heard; #2 is a particular favorite.

Nice. #2 is a favorite of mine, as well. I keep meaning to compile one of these... perhaps I will someday. Mine would definitely feature more material from Bloomed (esp "Blue and Wonder", my absolute favorite), though.

laura, this looks great. i've made another note. also wanted to let you know that i have two of your CDs done and burned for our trade, but have now hit a snag w/breakdown of CD burner. sad, sad day. but will get up and running again soon, i'm sure. just wanted to let you know....

Thanks for the comments everybody -- Rob pointed out the lack of material from Buckner's first album, particularly the track "Blue And Wonder" and I must say he's right -- although Bloomed doesn't resonate with me as much as his other albums, that song is too fantastic to not include, so I've edited the mix since I had room. :)

Listened to this a couple of times now.Reminds me a lot of a deeper voived Neal Casal. That's a good thing.
