a handful of familiar clicking stones in the hand that took a few years to arrange in a proper faerie circle. candlelight and blue glass. black overcoat swooping on rain soaked pavement. it's about that meloncholy just below the mainstream poprock male vocal from the late eighties/early ninties i've always sought out, except a few of these don't fit that profile. "crazy" turned up in a car commercial that year. isn't that crazy?it was nice to reclaim two depeche mode songs, if only for ten minutes.
