Comment:

On this all-instrumental mix you'll find many impressive bluegrass pickers. Some of the songs are in classic bluegrass style, but to break things up a bit I also added some contemporary tracks. Musicians like David Grisman, BTla Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Tony Rice, Mike Marshall, Todd Phillips, Chris Thile (from Nickel Creek) and others all have their roots in bluegrass but also have recorded music that could be classified as newgrass, jazz, progressive, or new acoustic.

Pick of the litter!
I too like the cross-pollination of artistry here - I think there are less than 6 degrees of separation in the bluegrass world.
All the tunes I know on here are purely beautiful.
