Comment:

just as there was most certainly significance to the numbers that head off the title, there was a clear method to my sorting here, though the glass is hazy and i couldn't tell you what is on the other side of it, now. dark night of the soul, i might say, oh, but, i never have those. the general trend seems to be songs that made me nervous--or outright turn-off-the-cd-player-and-bolt-from-the-room terrified--when i was younger. promise me you've had at least one song like that, back in the day? those last four songs flow together especially well. and i like how the concluding cure song launches with what almost sounds like a chuckle at the whole wildly angsting affair. someday i'm going to make a mix that can be played in daylight hours. clear skied daylight hours, i mean.
