It's Your Heart Not Mine That's Scarred: an elliott smith mix
Comment:
Yes, everybody and their grandma has an elliott smith mix, but I wanted to post mine anyway. It turned out rather well and it works well as an introduction to his music, and it's great for me when I need some elliott smith in my car. Title comes from "Somebody That I Used To Know."Feedback:
Looks complete to me.
I know its so hard to make mixes like this...But WHERE IS TWILIGHT and Bottle up and explode!?? besides those 2...It looks like it would flow well..Goodmix.
Lovely stuff, although I, too, miss "Twilight" and several others ("Christian Brothers", "Southern Belle" and "Coming Up Roses" spring to mind, but then again, the self-titled album is my favorite), but it's YOUR mix, of course. ;-)
Oh, I have one of these, too (http://www.artofthemix.org/FindAMix/getcontents.asp?strMixID=12665), but I don't think that my grandma does... ;-D
As you say Laura.A great introduction to Elliott Smith.
lovely mix. You can't go wrong with Elliott.
I always end with the biggest lie.
otherwise, good mix
otherwise, good mix
Yes, yes, not everybody is going to pick the exact same songs for a single artist mix -- all the ones mentioned that are "missing" are indeed great songs, but personal taste and the limited time allowed by a CD-R forced me to cut some greats... I'm sure you understand... :)
Cool. This is way better than my grandma's Elliott Smith mix. I know I should be more familiar with his work, but sadly I only recognize a couple songs
Looks good and yeah, i got one too.
I haven't done one yet -- I'm afraid I'm going to feel guilty for having to exclude too many great songs.
