Comment:

It's a funny thing about gossip - everyone enjoys it but everyone puts it down.
And of course in pop culture it's always women, not men, who talk too much -- which doesn't match my life experience, I must say -- but it's reflected in these (mostly R&B) songs -- Loudmouth Lucy, Big Mouth Gal, Girls Talk, etc., with only Martha Carter's answer song "I Don't Talk Too Much" retorting that "you yack quite a bit yourself".

Well, I don't want to run off at the mouth about this, just to say that these are all jumping tunes
about not keeping quiet!

Plenty here to hear and talk about, but you didn't hear it from me. How'd you get Norman Rockwell to come out of retirement to do your cover?

This is just fabu, Joey! I'd suggest The 5 Keys' wonderful "Your Teeth and Your Tongue Will Get You Hung" for your next mix.

Tremendously great, as usual. I'd like to elaborate, but I think that sums it up.

Btw, dood, where's Poison's "Talk Dirty to Me"?!?!?

Rob - nope, no Poison here -- partly 'cause my taste doesn't run to hair-metal, but mainly 'cause that song is not about gossip, so it doesn't fit the theme . . .
