This is the second of three mixes I contributed to the Mixpool part II, a mix trade I organized for a group of 25 people. I wanted this to be a bit more experimental and lo-fi than the other mixes I was contibuting. About half of the tracks here are self released or released by very small labels, and many are local, either to Minneapolis or Los Angeles.The title comes from the Movies track and the cover and inside photos are Thomas Guide map details of my neighborhood in North Hollywood. I mixed this at the end of February and begining of March, 2005 and made 30 copies.Its companion mixes are Killing and Skineating: Mixpool 2.1 and Another Song, Another Day: Mixpool 2.3. My entry for the first mixpool was Shooting Stars and Satellites.
