my second black tape CD, focusing on the first three albums. what the shadow collection is to dark velvet, this one is to sweetly humid overcast skies. there's a little something of a story going on, a life and death and rebirth kind of affair, though it's very loosely drawn. what i love especially about these older black tape tracks is how much they feel like lost bits of soundtracks from grainy and mysterious old horror films.
