A work-in-progress... the odd songs are written by John Lennon, the evens by Paul McCartney... this project has come to a temporary halt for two reasons: 1) I hate to leave out any really good ones, and (especially if I'm including solo work) that's inevitable; and 2) I'm hard at work on my birthday mix for myself, and trying to finish by January 31st... Any suggestions as to songs that absolutely MUST be included on the second side of this mix would be very welcome...Feedback:
I'm not real familiar with McCartney's solo stuff, but some of my fave Lennon tunes would have to include "God", "Working Class Hero" and "Watching the Wheels". I know "I'm a Loser" is considered a Lennon/McCartney song, but I've always considered it a Lennon tune (I guess it's the self-hatred)
