Comment:

The first of a series. There's not too much logic to this one save the simple concept of the series being jazz interpretations of the blues. My goal was to mix it up with older and newish players, as well as to present a variety of styles. If there are any themes for the mixes, I guess mood guides each of them. This first one, for example, is quite ebullient; others are more of a hodgepodge. Enjoy.
