Correct me if I'm wrong, aren't the Gallaghers followers of Manchester City?... I also liked the fact that this mix is Beatle free, being a Liverpool mix, I mean (I like The Beatles)... The jerks on ESPN L.A. were singing McCartney's "Let it be" after the game and with McCartney being the Everton Beatle that was absurd... At least that's what I think...
Btw - the night of the final, oasis showed the entire match on a big screen tv. After the game was finished, they came onto the stage and did a rendition of YNWA dedicated to the reds, and also 'Stop crying your heart out' to AC Milan
This is absolutely excellent! Nice choices, and though as a yank who doesn't follow sports ("It's an odd boy who doesn't like sport" - Bonzo Dog Band), much of this is lost on me, I am able to get the feel of absolute jubilation just through your song selection. This is good work.
