Comment:

This is the year I decided my youth had gone but I decided to cling on to it anyway. If only my hair had listened.Paul McCartney is actually a song and not a typo. And the Nine Steps To Ugly track might have come out a year later but I liked it so much it was going on anyway.

Awesome mix. Skyway is one of my all-time favories. Any mix with the Pixies, Replacements and Smiths is a winner.

A lot of the songs here were on heavy rotation on my stereo in the late 80s as well. Nice!

Nice. Love the Momus, MBV, Smiths, Pixies, Half Man, Replacements, fIREHOSE, and Chills picks. And after reading that Creation book, I'm vaguely interested in hearing the Weather Prophets...

Based on the comment, I'm guessing this is your work Rupert;) Love the Primitives, MBV, Downy Mildew (didn't think anyone in the UK had heard of them), Chills and the brilliant Talulah Gosh.

Can't remember what I was listening to in 87. It wasn't much of this. Perhaps it should have been.
